Au bar Taneyoshi, always full of happy people !

english_flag So, it’s late, and I’m lazy, so I’m just going to try to translate Stéphane’s text 🙂

We’ve been very busy over the past few days and it’s not been possible to update the blog as much as we’d like. There are a few articles underway describing what we’ve been up to in Osaka and Kishiwada…a quick preview is that we’ve been meeting a lot of very nice and interesting people every day…the photo above is from this evening where we went into a tiny bar (the directions to it were « after 50m turn right and head to the bar where the happy people are »…very true, very happy!!).We were « beauty » and « handsome » for the evening (though the girl that told us that did nearly fall out of the door as she turned round back to her friends 😉 ).

Yesterday at the Kishwada festival we were invited by a lady called Ahnya back to meet her friends and spend the rest of the evening with them with a bird’s eye view of the festival. They were a group of Japanese people who like France and even speak some French, we were invited to share their food and beer and sake.

On Friday we met a guy that used to be a sushi chef in Paris and another man who volunteers as a guide at Osaka castle, a go-teacher and a humanitarian setting up schools in Rwanda…as you can see, we’re keeping ourselves busy and thanks to Stéphane’s Japanese and their interest in France and the UK we’re being very well received! 🙂

Tomorrow we’re off to Nara to continue our « voyage » 😉 (if we can wake up…)
